Even though it threatened rain on and off all day, the weather ended up being perfect for Sarah + Stephen’s wedding in Virginia Beach. You may remember them from their Smithfield Windsor Castle Park engagement session, here.
Sarah’s ‘first look’ with her dad was so sweet. There was not a dry eye, including mine! It was such an emotional moment between them and am glad we were able to capture it. I realized then I need to start carrying more tissues with me!
Even though it didn’t rain it was a very windy ceremony! Sarah’s veil was in her face the whole time but instead of getting frustrated, she was all smiles and laughs, and it says a lot about her personality. Every time I see her she is either laughing or has a huge smile on her face. Being around her makes you instantly happy and I can see why Stephen is smitten with her. The minute he saw Sarah during their first look I could tell he relaxed and was incredibly happy to be marrying that girl. I wish the two of them nothing but happiness and laughter together and thank you for letting me share in your day!
Also, a thank you to Melody for all your help that day!

Great job! That ring shot on the invitation is PERFECT! And the portraits on the beach are awesome. I especially love the ones in the tall grass!
