Aside from photography and shooting weddings, I really enjoy design, specifically stationary, both handmade and digital. Sometimes on my days off I will get all my crafting supplies out and create cards and lined envelopes from scratch. It is relaxing. My friend, Tiffany, will join me from time to time and we enjoy borrowing each other’s goodies to come up with new designs.

When Melissa was talking about trying to find bridal shower invitations for Jacklyn I immediately told her I would love to help. Jacklyn + TJ are clients and family of Melissa. You can check out their engagement session here. I had fun designing this custom 5×7 bridal shower invitation. Melissa wanted a slight chalkboard feel and I loved how they turned out. The linen paper they are printed on gives it a nice finish and feel. Although the client opted not to, the company I order my press products from offer lined envelopes. It is a great way to dress up any envelope for a special occasion. Always fun to see one of my images in print, too! Can’t wait for their wedding in August up in New York!
