My favorite part of Amanda + Ken’s wedding had to have been their wedding hashtag. #kenanddrlady I did not know this until the day of but Ken calls Amanda “Dr. Lady”. Seriously, how cute!?!? She is a veterinarian and when I found that out during their engagement session she already had a little piece of my heart. All through middle school I was determined to become a vet. Part of me still wonders what my life would be like if I went that route. It’s a great profession!
The ceremony was held on the beach at First Landing State Park and reception at The Yacht Club at Marina Shores in Virginia Beach. Another reason I love Amanda (besides her amazing taste in wedding day shoes!!!!)….she planned her ceremony time and portraits (with the help of the fabulous Antonia Christianson Events) during the last few hours of the day when the light is the best. Smart bride and my kind of gal!
