In February I headed to Las Vegas, Nevada for a wedding and portrait photography conference called WPPI. This was my second time attending the conference and second time in Las Vegas. Shannon Moffit and Rachel Clarke were my two conference companions and this time my Contax and a hand full of film were in tow. Our first stop was The Neon Museum. What a unique place! Getting to stand next to original signage from the strip back in the day was pretty darn cool. Scale is really put into perspective of just how large these pieces are and how many light bulbs they need to shine.
The next day the gals and I headed out to Red Rock Canyon in our rental to have fun photographing each other before the sun set. Such a gorgeous setting. The soft light and neutral tones made for the perfect setting. We had the best time frolicking around until we were told we need to leave because the park was closing. We lost track of time having way too much fun with SnapChat filters. Embarrassingly way too much more than three adult woman should admit! When in Vegas!
Take away tip from the trip, if you are in Vegas utilizing Uber is the way to go. We took it everywhere. Quick, affordable and it was wonderful meeting and learning the stories of each of our drivers.
