Casey and Tanner’s Williamsburg Inn wedding may have been in the fall but their color palette (and all of the warm sunshine) was bringing all the summer vibes. That’s the weird thing about Virginia, fall on the calendar can feel like spring or summer. Lindsey, the in-house florist, added just a little darker color for some dimension in all the florals. I see a lot of white on white and it was refreshing to see color. The light behind the Governor’s Palace for portraits was spectacular. It is always a favorite spot for me and am happy when client’s include time for us to go there during the wedding day. I appreciate the people who help facilitate that!
My favorite part of the day had to do with food! They had gourmet ice cream sandwiches from Nightingale for their guests after the cake was cut. The bride and groom insisted I try one (it was ice cream, no one had to tell me twice). So, so delicious!
Casey and Tanner, thank you, for choosing me to document such a fun day! The smiles plastered across your faces the entire day made my heart happy!
