This Williamsburg wedding was nothing short of amazing! The day started with Laura getting ready with her girls at the Williamsburg Inn, while David was over at the Williamsburg Lodge. I am still obsessed with the bridesmaids dresses. The prettiest of blue from The Dessy Group. After some photos at the Inn we headed to the ceremony at Saint Bede. Afterwards, the guests made their way to the Fountain Garden, near the spa, for a cocktail hour that included a harpist, champagne w/fresh raspberries and flowers from Aleen Floral Design floating in the fountain. Before the newlyweds joined their guests we hopped on a carriage that took us to the Governor’s Palace for portraits. This was my first time taking photos in the garden area and WOAH, it is a gorgeous spot for that! I wished we had had more time to spend there because I could have stayed there forever. The evening ended with a delicious dinner, great music by the band Attraction and almost all of their guests on the dance floor.
I always like to highlight my favorite part of the day. For me, it was when Laura got up on stage in a killer jumpsuit and sang her heart out to Ed Sheeran’s Perfect in front of 200+ guests to her new husband. All the feels and all the watery eyes. Mine included! Times like that I am glad I have a camera in my face.
Thank you, Laura & David, to you and your families for such an awesome day!
