Liz + Brian’s wedding at the Yacht Club at Marina Shores happened to fall on the day when Hurricane Matthew’s outer bands came blazing through Hampton Roads, leaving us with a day full of rain, wind and flooding. It is considered lucky for it to rain on your wedding day, right? Well, there was enough rain for years and years of luck for these two! It could have really dampened their spirits but I didn’t get that feeling at all.
My favorite part of the day was seeing Liz’s reaction to her reception and ceremony space decor. It was one of those smiles turned into hand over the mouth because she is overwhelmed with joy and about to cry. It was so sweet for her to be able to have that moment.
I get to have these two in front of my lens again soon and am looking forward to that. For now, enjoy the joyous moments from their wedding day! Thank you, Liz + Brian, for allowing me to be a part of it!
