This Washington, DC wedding was filled with love and happiness (and a beautiful spot for portraits). Connor & Laura said their ‘I Do’s” at City Winery DC but not before spending time with their bridal party at the Jefferson Memorial. That little nook boasts the perfect light with a clean backdrop on a sunny day. The mix-matched bridesmaids gowns from Bella Bridesmaids paired perfectly with the marble and the guys were looking handsome in their suits. One little background nugget I want to note from the day was Laura’s veil. It has been worn now by seven ladies in the family, dating back to 1974. How special is that!? Connor’s mom started to tear up as she helped affix the veil to Laura’s head. I almost lost it myself. I am a sucker for a family heirloom and it gets me every time. My experience with these two was incredible and am sad the wedding is over! Thank you for allowing me to be a vital part of your wedding day, Connor & Laura!
