The Lace House in Columbia, South Carolina is the perfect place in town for a wedding. Intimate spots within the several gardens they have on the property to the beautiful house with the spacious porches. The small, secret garden where the ceremony was held was perfection.
Sam and Morgan were the winners from last year’s giveaway and they picked Columbia to get married because it is an extra special place to them. They met there and wanted to start their life and husband and wife there, too. The wedding was a real family affair. Everyone from the bridal party that included only siblings to the aunts, uncles and cousins and close friends who all participated in the ceremony. Grandpa sang a solo and it gave me goosebumps. The kneeling bench, that was part of the day, has been in their family since 1935. Morgan’s great-grandmother’s father built the bench for his daughter’s wedding. It has been used in family ceremonies since, including hundreds of other couples who were married in the church it was housed. Nothing says tradition and family more than that!
