It has taken me entirely way too long to get these up but better late than never, right? After starting to put these travel film scans together from our trip to Europe in late 2019 I realized that I just had too many to put into one post (even after pairing them down).
We started (and ended) the trip in Ireland, after photographing Jordann & Nick’s wedding at Cliff at Lyons in Kildare a few days before. We spent time in Dublin (where I had Guinness for the very first time at the factory), Howth (where we did a long afternoon hike around the peninsula) and Malahide (where I went on a small castle tour and I tried my very first Irish coffee at the local pub).
We stayed at two different hotels in Dublin. Both Stauntons on the Green and The Davenport Hotel were wonderful and I would stay at either of them again. Stauntons had more of a B&B feel, where Davenport felt like a larger, boutique hotel. Both had breakfast available to add or purchase. More food than one needs but delicious!
It was cold and rainy season there and we had mostly gray skies, but the Irish were incredibly warm and friendly and I can’t wait to go back to explore more of the island.
