This Il Mercato wedding in New Orleans, Louisiana was one for the books! Moments of tears opening gifts, nerves during the first look, smiles as Kelly walked down the aisle to Ben, a wall full of champagne, a festive second line and loads of fun on the dance floor. I am still obsessing over Kelly’s Martina Liana gown from Town & Country Bridal. The scalloped train is nothing I have ever seen before! The courtyard at Il Mercado was intimate and the fireplace made for a lovely backdrop for the ceremony, adorned with florals from Antigua Floral.
My favorite part of the day for me was the short bus ride from the hotel to Coliseum Square Park with Kelly for her first look with Ben. She was nervous but it was incredibly sweet to see how excited she was to see him. All that went away as soon as he turned his head and saw her (yes, he also shed a tear). Also, if every wedding could have a second line that would be pretty fantastic. So fun and lively!
Kelly and Ben, thank you for giving me the honor to document your wedding day. You two are such a joy!
