This was my second time photographing a wedding at Cousiac Manor in Lenexa, Virginia. It is a great venue for anyone looking for a laid back, country feel. Staci + Sean’s wedding was very much polished and cohesive. The bridesmaids subtle mint and blue toned dresses complimented the water front property, while the guys were suited up in a neutral color. The weather was perfect for the outdoor dance floor and for additional portraits during dinner, right before sunset. My favorite! It’s so lovely using natural light for a first dance. There is something really romantic about being outdoors with the light breeze and the sun setting as the couple is dancing for the first time as husband and wife. I typically see the a lot of the same traditions at each wedding. This time, instead of having a longer mother-son dance, Sean and his mom invited any mother-son guests to join them on the dance floor. So sweet to see this!
Staci + Sean, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your wedding day! A beautiful couple with a bright future ahead of you as a Mr. + Mrs.!
