Meghan and Clarke’s Richmond wedding began with an exchange of vows at St James’s Episcopal Church, followed by a reception at the Country Club of Virginia. The girls dressed in powder blue paired perfectly with the guys in their white suit jackets, looking positively dapper. Their wedding day called for rain all day and it did end up storming most of the day. By some miracle, it stopped at the right time and long enough for us to take all of the photos outside we hoped to before it started up again. Hallelujah!
Now for my favorite part of the day….hands down, when Meghan and Clarke got up on stage with Attraction and sang their hearts out to Toto’s Africa! It was pretty epic and their guests were having just as much fun singing along. I don’t think I will ever hear that song the same way again. It will forever be their song in my mind. On top of that, my vendor friend, Lauren of Lauren Perry Studio (aka hand model extraordinaire), was in the wedding party, along with one of my other couples, Laura and Connor. You can view their Washington, DC wedding here.
Meghan and Clarke, thank you for such a fun day! I am so grateful to have gotten to know your over the past year. Can’t wait to see what life has in store for the two of you.
