This was my first time in Annapolis and I already can’t wait to go back and explore some more of what this quaint city has to offer. Cute facades and store fronts. Thank you to Rebecca + Collin for inviting me up to see where they work and play. I even had the pleasure of meeting Percy, their furry companion. Percy was a little camera shy and it was clear he was a mama’s boy!
The real highlight of this post has to be their proposal story! When Rebecca was telling me about it all I kept thinking was, “this sounds like a movie or it needs to be part of one!” Rebecca is a huge lover of history and Collin surprised her with a proposal at Mount Vernon, along the Potomac River. The story doesn’t stop there, not even close. He then whisked her off in a helicopter to Manhattan, where they met up with friends “randomly” in several places in Central Park. After some time in New York they then took a train to Boston where they spent more time together, celebrating their engagement. Seriously. Is this real life!? Something straight out of a movie. When I initially started my conversation with them, I asked how they met and Rebecca said, “Online, not a very exciting story”. Pretty sure the proposal story trumps the ‘how we met’ story!
They are getting married in just a week and a half at the Williamsburg Inn. Can’t wait to see them again and capture their ‘I do” to one another.
