I was so excited when Carolyn + Pete’s day had finally arrived! It had been in the works for awhile. I first met this lovely couple in a Starbucks. I could tell right away that Pete was just crazy about his bride-to-be and could not wait to marry her. As we chatted about weddings, they told me the story of how they met. At the time, they were both living in Norfolk, VA. Pete first laid eyes on the beautiful Carolyn at a video store (yes, they still exist!) in downtown Norfolk, called Naro. After hearing the full story, I like to think their finding each other was a little bit of serendipity going on. And it happened that their ceremony was a couple blocks from the video store and we were able to get some pictures outside of where their love story all started. How cool!?
Carolyn’s friends gave her a gift certificate towards a boudoir session. We planned it just right where Carolyn was able to come into town “on official wedding business” to have her session without Pete knowing. We were able to get the album done in time to give to her groom on their wedding day. Needless to say, Pete could not stop smiling as he flipped through the album. Carolyn looked absolutely amazing in them. Mission accomplished!
Instead of an engagement session, Carolyn + Pete decided to do an ‘after the wedding’ session. This is happening Monday and I can’t wait to get them back in front of the camera! While you wait for those, here is a fun recap of their big day! Congratulations, Carolyn+Pete.
